Time and Talents Cycling Without Age: Calling cyclists to volunteer
Time and Talents are now recruiting even more experienced cyclists who would like to volunteer for their Cycling Without Age scheme!
The charity are introducing more weekly rides to sheltered accommodation across 2019 so they can help more and more people – this means they need more volunteers!
Cycling Without Age is an intergenerational project that matches volunteer cyclists with isolated, older individuals to enjoy the experience of cycling together. This project enables older people and volunteers to explore together the green spaces of Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, share stories and learn about their shared space/history, and develop lasting friendships and relationships. Cycling Without Age gets people from different generations and different backgrounds to meet who would not ordinarily do so, and journey to places that they wouldn’t otherwise visit!
