Southwark Park 10k Run and Fun Run Race

Southwark Park will be hosting two sports events for those who like running. The first is a 10k race, one of the most popular road running distances. will start at 9.30am. At just over 6 miles this distance offers a serious challenge to those starting out in running.

The second event is the family Fun Run which will start at 11.15am. Both events are organised by PB Race Events in collaboration with Friends of Southwark Park.

Puregym will be doing the warm up at Southwark park 10k, if you need any assistance, support, advice or even a training schedule

The event: 10k

Three lap scenic course in the beautiful grounds of Southwark Park. The race will be chip timed and a PB is possible. It’s a family day with a kid’s fun run.

Registration information:

On the day of the event, registration will open at 8:00 and close 9:15 so you can collect your race number and chip timing and instructions
Start time  is 9:30 for the 10k run

The Fun Race

You will be able to enter the fun run on the day, the fee will be £6 and all children runners must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

The race will start at 11:15 all runners with a race number will receive a medal.

About the organiser

PB Race Events is a small team with a passion for running. They get a great buzz and sense of achievement in watching runners cross our finish line. All their events are professionally run.  Their races are chip timed, have baggage areas, water stations, photographers on the course, First Aid and a team of very vocal marshals, not forgetting their race warm up to music to get those stiff muscles ready for action. They  supply prizes for the winners and spot prizes for those giving it there all, along with medals to all race finishers so everyone has a great race with a good atmosphere.  .

Snappy Races will be taking photos on race day the fee for each photo will be (£2:49) with £1 going straight to Southwark Park so smiley faces.
