Southwark Libraries Half Term Activities

A range of half term activities in the libraries in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey; fun activities for children and young people to do. A mixture of stories, crafts and games to see you and your children thorough the week long holiday.

Children under 8 years must be accompanied by their parent or carer throughout the activity.

Canada Water Library

  • Rhyme Time, A calm afternoon group of classic nursery rhymes and songs to engage and delight preschool children.

  • Picture This, A fun club for children who love to draw. All equipment and materials provided.

  • Fishy Fiction, Have fun with all things under the sea and make your very own Rainbow Fish.

  • Baby and Toddler, Energetic and entertaining session with interactive stories read aloud to encourage involvement from the whole group.

  • Wonders of the World in colour, Learn about and colour in the Seven Wonders of the World.

  • Chatterbooks, This monthly group for older children will be based around Rhymes, Lyrics and Poetry.

  • Angry Birds, Have fun making and playing your very own angry birds game.

  • Revolting Rhymes Day, Create and Illustrate your own hilarious revolting rhyme to celebrate 100 years since Roald Dahl’s birth. Part of the Rhyme and Reason festival.
