Large numbers of people are expected so arrive early to avoid the long queues. Last entry time at the gates is 6.30pm.

Southwark’s annual firework night spectacular is returning to Southwark Park once again. Over 33,000 attended last year’s free event and as one of the few displays taking place in London on the night itself, for the first time you will need a ticket to enter the event.

Anyone planning to attend the fireworks event in Southwark Park should ensure they get their free tickets in advance, and be aware that local routes to the park will be very busy on the night. Travel should be planned in advance to make sure they arrive at the park in good time.

Gates will open at 5pm, with food, drink and entertainment available.

Last entry to the park will be at 6.30pm so please arrive in good time.

Conditions of entry

No entry without a valid ticket
No fireworks
No alcohol
No dogs
No bikes
No glass
No weapons
Sparklers are allowed under the supervision of an adult. Please note that sparkler bins are provided.
Bag searches will be in operation.
The management reserve the right to refuse admission

Please note: we encourage you to take advantage of this free event and leave the fireworks to those specially trained to handle them. Fireworks are a cause of serious fires and injuries every year when not used responsibly and can be very dangerous to the user and others around them.


Getting into the event

Entrance to the event is via gates to the park on Lower Road, Southwark Park Road and Hawkstone Road.

Overground: Surrey Quays and Canada Water

Rail: South Bermondsey

Accessibility

Blue badge parking will be available at car park via the Hawkstone Road gate.

There will be a accessible viewing area reserved for those who need it please ask a steward for more details once on site.
Southwark Park is a combination of large expanses of grass with tarmac and paved paths. There are no sheltered areas for the audience and the weather and ground conditions may be variable (it is often drizzly and soggy).
Please check the weather forecast and wear appropriate warm clothes and shoes.

Accessible toilets will be available on site, all of which will be signposted.
