Disco Loco

Sunglasses? Check. Disco pants? Check. Time for some alternative family entertainment with Disco Loco.
The wild and wonderful family party welcomes revellers of all ages to an afternoon of DJing and performances.
Boogie to back-to-back tunes from the Disco Loco Allstar DJs and marvel at live music, dance and cabaret, hosted by the genial MC Chu-i.
Disco Loco have been entertaining families across East London since 2006 in a programme of arts, culture and a spirit of togetherness, running inclusive monthly events for families.

Tw*t Boutique

The era-defining club night is back for a free one-night-only summer special. Because you need it.
Tw*t Boutique is a club night for LGBTQI+ people and their friends. In their own words, โItโs quite good. Exciting people play exciting music while you dance, sweat and chase honeys.โ
Past guests of Tw*t Boutique have included The Kills, Gossip, Peaches, The Horrors, La Roux, Anna Calvi and Ms. Dynamite.

Queer Tango on the Thames
Sunday 25 August| 4pm | Riverside Terrace, Level 2 | Free
Bringing fresh air to real tango, Queer Tango London hosts free gender-blind classes, followed by dancing under the stars late into the night.
Kick off at 4pm with an Absolute Beginners Class, where you choose to lead or to follow, or both โ no experience or partner needed.
From 5pm onwards, beginners and experienced dancers are invited to tango to intoxicating music provided by live bands including the Tango Terra Quartet, and Corina Patti with Simon Morris on guitar.
With queer tango performances, a bar on hand, and DJ sets from Claudio Tedesco and Anna Jorgensen, the whole evening is rounded off by dancing under the stars till 1am.
Queer Tango London collaborates once again with Peng Newman and Tango on the Thames to welcome absolutely everyone to Queer Tango on the Thames, held alongside our Hayward Gallery exhibition Kiss My Genders
