Scandinavian Christmas Market in Rotherhithe
Come and experience the Nordic Christmas atmosphere at the annual Scandinavian Christmas Market taking place on Albion Street in Rotherhithe. The market is located in Albion Street in Rotherhithe between the Norwegian Church on one side and the Finnish Church in the other.
The market will be open:

Come and experience the Scandinavian atmosphere with typical Scandi street food available or get some of the many gifts ideas and delicatessen products on sale.
The market connects the Finnish and Norwegian Churches and coincides with the indoor Christmas Fairs at both churches, the perfect excuse to visit the Finnish Church to purchase unique delicatessen products or the new St Olav’s Square in front of the Norwegian church.

Finnish Church in London
Don’t forget to visit the Christmas Bazaar in the Finnish church full of Finland’s unique delicatessens.
The Finnish Church in London is a religious, cultural and social meeting place for all the Finns who live in Great Britain and Ireland (either permanently or temporarily), as well as for their friends and family. The church has a cafe and shop and organises many cultural and community activities. It also features an authentic Finnish Sauna.

The Norwegian church will be displaying a beautiful new open space and though the summer floral display won’t be visible, the gardens will be a fantastic place to retreat from the busy area of the market stalls plus the church has also a cafe and Christmas bazaar inside for the Scandinavian Market
Up Market
Up Market is a Community Charity Shop situated in Albion Street providing quality pre-loved items at fantastic prices and have a considerable range of ladies, men and children clothing and accessories in the shop. Clothing aside they also have lots of bric-a-brac, artwork, china, books and much more. The shop, which is open during the week, will also have a stall in the market.

SE16-WORG, a coordinating group helps to promote other factual tourist and visitor literature and material for the Rotherhithe area. A must visit during the market to pick up a copy of the much-needed Rotherhithe Map to discover what the area offers to the visitors (and to many residents who will discover the diversity of things to do and see in the Rotherhithe peninsula).
