Mvsica Antica presents Lettere Amorose

Celebrating a year since their founding this summer, Mvsica Antica Rotherhithe brings works by two of the greatest composers of Italian Opera of the Seventeenth Century to the beautiful, intimate stage of Sands Films Studio, prepared first-hand from original manuscripts preserved in the Biblioteca Marciana, Venice, and many never-yet performed in the U.K.

As ever, Home-infused Gins, wine and beer will be available before the performance and during the interval, the proceeds of which support Holy Trinity Church, Rotherhithe

About Mvsica Antica Rotherhithe

Musica Antica Rotherhithe was founded in 2016 by local musicians Oliver Doyle and Jessica Eucker, with the aim of bringing regular performances of Early Music to SE16.

While specialising in the performance of 17th Century chamber music, their repertoire extends into opera, and to the works of composers writing in the High-Late Middle Ages, often overlooked in programmes today
