Southwark council schemes for Rotherhithe peninsula

The SRPP is part of the council’s on-going commitment to build 11,000 new council homes by 2043. Of the 18 sites currently in the programme, 4 are on the Rotherhithe peninsula.

Albion Civic Centre

The proposed scheme will deliver 25 new council homes and a new doctor’s surgery. Planning submission is scheduled for later this year with a pre-submission exhibition planned for September. More information about  Albion Street Civic Centre regeneration

South Dock Marina Boatyard

Design development is on going with further options currently being investigated.  An update letter will be sent out to local residents outlining dates for future consultation. This information will also be made available online about South Dock Marina Boatyard

Seven Islands Leisure Centre

Redevelopment proposals for this site will not be explored until a decision is made about the proposed new leisure centre at Canada Water. More information about Seven Islands Leisure Centre
