Southwark Council has eight park venues with tennis courts and court time is reserved using a booking system.
Revised Booking Terms and Conditions
- A new booking terms and conditions was implemented for all park tennis courts in Southwark.
- Players must book courts online before play, with bookings opening seven days in advance at 8 pm each day.
- Individuals can reserve up to one hour of court time per day.
- It’s important to note that only coaches approved by the council are permitted to offer coaching sessions on these courts.
Membership Options and Fees
To accommodate diverse community needs, Southwark Council offers several membership options:

- Free Play Membership: Available to Southwark residents aged 5–18 and adults with registered disabilities. This membership allows for a daily 30-minute booking at no charge. Proof of eligibility, such as a council tax bill or relevant identification, is required.
- Concession Pricing: Discounted rates are offered to residents over 60, full-time students, registered carers, uniformed service employees, and those receiving Universal Credit. Eligible members can book courts at reduced prices across the week.
