Global Generation is recruiting for the next cohort of its ‘Generator’ youth leadership programme for 10 to 18-year olds at the Paper Garden in the Printworks, part of the Canada Water Masterplan site. The free programme lasts six to nine months and this next programme starts in February 2021.
Youth leadership programme
By becoming a Generator, participants will have the chance to develop new skills whilst working in the local community. Participants will also be able to take part in a varied range of activities, including weekly after school workshops, design training, practicing public speaking, and going on a summer camp. The programme offers the chance to work with world-class companies, and participants receive a certificate of completion to go towards their Record of Achievement. After the programme, many past generators have gone on to become mentors to young students as well.
If you would like to find out more, register your interest, or know someone who would be interested in the programme, please contact Emma by email emma@globalgeneration.org.uk. or phone 07950 754531.
Meanwhile, Global Generation is also delighted to be welcoming families with young children back to the Paper Garden for free Family Gardening Workshops every Monday between 11am to 12pm.
