Canada Water Masterplan is one of the most important planning developments in Rotherhithe. In February they’re running a drop-in exhibition on the emerging plans for Canada Water, including an interactive model. British Land and the project team will be on hand to discuss the scheme with you and answer any questions.

Southwark Council representatives will also be available at the exhibitions to discuss the preferred location for the replacement Leisure Centre. This will include the thinking behind the preferred location and an overview of the various considered sites.

It is important to have as many people as possible to share their views, therefore we ask you to join them and invite your friends, neighbours and anyone you think could be interested.

The organisers will appreciate if you could send a rsvp by clicking “going” on their Facebook page or email team@canadawatermasterplan.com to confirm your attendance so we can plan for the numbers attending.

If you can’t join us for any of these sessions however, don’t worry – following the exhibitions, the information and feedback will be online for further comment and review.

A planning submission is anticipated in late 2016 and further consultation will take place ahead of this throughout 2016 to help inform the development of the masterplan proposals.
