What’s on in Rotherhithe in 2017?ย You will be pleased to know that a lot. Canada Water Culture Place 2017 events offer something for everyone, from family entertainment to music gigs. This intimate 150 seat theatre showcasses the best in new work, comedy, contemporary theatre, dance and music. Located on the ground floor of the Canada Water Library, the Culture Space is programmed by the Albany in partnership with Southwark Council.
The location has excellent transport connections, food available in the Culture Cafรฉ inside the library and nearby Canada Water Cafe and Leadbelly’s Bar and Kitchen plus the street food market outside during daytime shows and the perfect excuse to visit and explore Rotherhithe
Winter – Spring Programme
These are the scheduled shows at the Canada Water Culture Place from January to May 2017. Further shows will be added later on the year.
Puppetry, shadows, illusion and music combine to create a show with something for all ages. The classic tale of a puppet that wants to be a real boy, and the puppet-maker who wants to be a real father is brought lovingly to real life!
